Annie's Project

Beginning next week, the OSU Extension ABE Center will be hosting the first session of Annie’s Project – a program designed to empower green industry and farm women to be better business partners!   Participants will find answers, strength and friendship and will grow in confidence and business skills.   Classes will be held Tuesday evening beginning at 5:30 with a light dinner and will conclude by 9:00 pm.  The class schedule is as follows:

 

January 12 – Introduction, communication and goal setting

January 19 – Financial statements, record keeping, working with lenders

January 26 – Insurance and liability issues, risk tolerance and management

February 2 – Retirement issues, business and farm transition

February 9 – Retail and direct marketing, social media and internet

February 16 – Stress management and nutrition, program conclusion
